probably I'll throw an animal in every now and then, yes. I find animals terribly easy to draw compared to people! :D

I could always draw animals, for some reason...I just started drawing people 2 years ago.
I used to draw animals alot with a ballpoint pen or with a rapidograph (mechanical version of a sharpie).

Thanks!! I'm glad you like the style :D
Yeah, that was a fun and quick pastel...the paper is quite rough and very suited to that style (graffiti on concrete!)

No problem ^^ I see, I really should invest in better paper for my work, I think I could benefit. My art supplies are made of fail XD

try a few different kinds of paper...smooth paper like bristol for tight detail, paper that's grainy for more texture...you don't have to buy illustration board! I use that because I use water on it and often oil paint, so it can't warp.
Pastel paper can be expensive if you use the thick, sanded paper I used for this.

but if you're using pencil, try smooth bristol paper, comes in inexpensive pads :)

Very interesting! I work with pencil 95% of the time, so I guess Bristol would be for me. Thanks so much for the rundown ^^

Those are always fun. They keep you on your toes. I like people who question everything, and actually think. Unlike Justin Bieber, who desparately needs to stay in school - maybe in Germany...
sorry, couldn't resist
